eCommerce Grant Scheme

Enhance your business by making the most of the e-Commerce Grant Scheme, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund 2014-2020 - it’s now easier than ever

 

Through the e-Commerce Grant Scheme, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund 2014-2020, you will be able to receive a refund of up to 50% of your expenses and up to a maximum of €5,000.

Which expenses are refunded?

To benefit from the e-Commerce Grant Scheme, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund 2014-2020, you will need to either include an e-Commerce module to your existing website or develop a new website with e-Commerce integration.

What is an e-Commerce module?

Simply put, through this module your clients will be able to pay directly online for services and/or products they would purchase from your website.

Who is eligible to benefit from the e-Commerce Grant Scheme?

Any enterprise employing less than 250 employees (Micro Enterprises, Small Enterprises and Medium-sized Enterprises) will be considered to be eligible for the E-Commerce Grant Scheme, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund 2014-2020.

What is considered to be eligible?

In a nutshell: the design, development, implementation and delivery of an e-commerce website and/or mobile application.

The following items are all considered as an eligible expense:

  • Domain name registration
  • Hosting fees
  • Content Management System (CMS) software including required licenses
  • e-commerce Website and/or Mobile Application design in line with the brand identity of the organisation
  • Shopping Cart integration
  • Other Set-up fees (including setting up and configuration of the CMS system, system design, customisation and development, integration with payment system/s, implementation of the required security features, testing and go live).

How to apply?

Be quick. The e-Commerce Grant Scheme, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund 2014-2020, is demand driven and is being managed through an open rolling call. Next cutoff dates are: 30th March 2017, 30th April 2017 and 30th June 2017.
