As one of Malta’s largest electronics companies, Intercomp approached us to upgrade their existing e-commerce store, adding new and improved functionality and integrations which would take the user experience to the next level.
:: Brief
We wanted to make sure that the new website reflects Intercomp's philosophy of providing excellent and convenient customer service, which would allow users of any age group to find all the necessary information easily. Therefore, attention was given not just to the User Experience (UX) & User Interface (UI), but also to the overall website usability.
:: Smart Search
One of the main improvements made to the website was the search function, which now includes a suggestive search feature that allows users to gather more information at a glance, rather than having to visit individual product pages. This feature is designed to make the search process quicker and more efficient for users.
:: Plug It In
In addition to a clean design, the website includes several integrations, including a custom stock integration with Product Management System (PMS), Ace. Since Intercomp is a participant in the Lava Rewards loyalty program, we also integrated the new website with the points system, to allow customers to use and benefit from Lava points when buying online as well. This was achieved by seamlessly integrating the checkout process with Lava.mt which lets users earn and redeem points more conveniently.
:: A Focus on Convenience
In line with the philosophy of convenient service, we also included an easy payment scheme feature, which allows customers to
apply for instalment payments without having to visit the store in person.
