NIU was tasked with creating a website with a fast and straightforward, yet sophisticated interface for KeepMePosted.
:: The Brief
KeepMePosted aims to provide their community of employees and employers with a platform that makes looking for a job or finding the right talent simple and reliable. Essentially, to match people and jobs.
That’s where the NIU team comes in. We created a website for our client which adequately fulfils the requirements of this company, and does so in an effective manner. Effectively bridging the gap between employees and employers.
:: Design
Corporate website design is vital for every website so the NIU team wanted to introduce a number of colourful and interactive elements from the get-go. The first interesting element is the video which acts as a backdrop on the homepage. During the website development process, we also used the company’s logo colours (orange, grey and blue) throughout in order to enhance the branding, during the website development process.
:: UI/UX
Looking for a job or finding the right talent can be a frustrating and tedious process. However, with KeepMePosted, everything is made simple and easy. You can find that dream job without enduring many hours of online searches and companies have the right platform to attract talent.
UX/UI are key when it comes to website development as they act as guidelines for every website development project. That is, they dictate the tools and features required for visitors to have a positive experience in every website.
In fact, the continuous improvement of designing tools have an increasingly positive impact on usability and user experience, that also provides great convenience for designers, as well as the users. Therefore often a good web designer will try to be updated with the frontier, and master the latest tools. At NIU, our top-notch apps brilliantly developed to give convenient yet impactful user experiences.
:: Advanced Search
Similarly to any real estate pursuit, when it comes to looking for jobs online, visitors should never have to go through pages and pages of jobs which do not interest them, in order to finally stumble across one that is of interest. NIU put this aspect at centerstage in this project, though the advanced search options we provided on the corporate website. That is, we designed a user interface which caters directly to the needs of each visitor. We installed filters based on job basis (full-time, part-time, freelance, remote working etc) and job type.
:: Salary Calculator
This is a peculiar part of the website and shows that the company wants to go all out, not only providing lists of jobs, but giving an automatic weekly, months and yearly salary breakdown based on one’s monthly gross salary. This then provides the framework out of which we linked to their latest jobs blog, that addressed a number of topics surrounding work.
:: Covid-19 News & Blog
Promoting your services and goods is not an easy task, especially in a highly competitive business climate. That’s where a blog comes in. It helps you with the multimedia representation of your company, keeps the audience interested, as well as promoting your company and services.
A blog also adds value to our website, which in turn, increases traffic to your website and to your services. With the appropriate SEO strategies, your blog also gives Google and other search engines a reason to re-crawl your website to find new content to index.
These two sections are also very useful for employers and employees alike. Particularly when it comes to Covid-19, the KeepMePosted corporate website has a special resource pack which helps employers and employees re-target your efforts, and come out stronger, after the many struggles which they face.
