NIU created the corporate website for our client, S Gerada Bros, emphasizing vital aspects such as branding, and user-friendliness.

:: The Brief
S Gerada Bros is a family owned business with roots dating back over 50 years, starting when Mr. Saviour Gerada k/a Sunny started his successful career in the plumbing and electrical sector. In 1998, his son, Mr Leslie Gerada and his brother set their sights exclusively on the property industry. Hence, they began focusing on the laying of good quality construction and finishing, in a socially responsible way. These included both residential and commercial development projects in Sliema, St. Julians, Swieqi, Ta Xbiex, Msida, all within Malta’s North East Coast.
In 2016, the business grew to include the third generation of Geradas as Mr Gerada began passing on his skills to his two sons, Jean Claude and Saviour Gerada. Besides the construction company, the brothers have recently incorporated a new entity specifically dealing in the rental management of their own property portfolio.
We at NIU did our utmost to provide our client with a sophisticated corporate website for property, which aligns with their business goals and acts as a powerful reference point for their customers and business.
:: Design
The NIU design team went all out with this corporate website for property, and pulled out all the stops with respect to branding. This is because the goal of every corporate website, be it one which is for property or not, is to represent a company, attract more visitors, generate more business leads and promote their products and services. Ultimately, helping to gain more return on investment for the company. In order for the corporate website to do so, a company should have a brand message which is consistent and one which limits the sense of clutter to build loyalty and trust with the customer.
In this corporate website for property, we very much adhered to the idea that less is more. That is, while it is vital to give the important information which customers look for, there is no need to overwhelm them with tons of information. For example, when heading to the ”Commercial” section, one can find a number of spaces that are for rent, as well as the details of each property. This often includes the details and measurements of the space, the location and some information about the surrounding area, and of course, the price.
This less is more idea is also reflected in the quantity and the font of the content on this corporate website for property. Not only did we avoid excess content but we wanted to ensure that visitors can read the content comfortably.

:: UI/UX
As one begins to flick through S Gerada Bros’ corporate website for property, they begin to realise just how easy it is to find what they’re looking for when it comes to renting and buying residential and commercial properties. There are a number of sorting filters by latest properties, as well as by price, whether that be highest to lowest of vice versa. This adds to the user-friendly feel as it points visitors in the right direction immediately, which ensures that they remain engaged and do not click off.
